Replace the carpet or use a fiberglass repair kit to finish the surface of the floor.
Note that even though the plywood has been snapped and left exposed to rain and wind it still holds its integrity.
Mix and apply fiberglass filler to eliminate any air gaps between the plywood and fiberglass and round off the edges of the plywood.
Note if you d like to improve the final looks with a smoother finish allow the filler to harden completely and then spend an additional 30 minutes grinding it down.
Set the repair patch in place and use the cordless drill to drive the screws and complete the repair patch.
